Bill in India

IndiaGreetings from Udaipur which I am leaving tonight for Delhi and the 2nd part of this trip. Thanks for prayers. I have not been too busy here but was getting over the flu and am ok now and ready for a busy time in Delhi. The ministry here had a crisis this week but better after a reconciliation meeting yesterday. It has 1500 pastors, 1300 churches, has baptised over 200000, 7 schools, 8 bible colleges and 18 orphanages over north India.
Pray I shall have a wonderful time in Delhi and be kept going in power…
Thanks… Bill

Bill’s Jerusalem Report – May 2010

Mission, Serving No Comments »

As the time of my departure for England is approaching I am typing this to thank those who prayed me through 3 months of work in a food bank here, a kind of supermarket where people from all over the world prepare food parcels for needy people, mostly immigrants from Russia and nearby countries. Over 20000 people are helped and over 60 tons of foodstuffs are given out monthly. This time I was not working on preparing the parcels but had my own office and computer, and was given admin. jobs to do i.e. answering all incoming calls and transferring them..never done this before…plus writing donor cards to go with gifts, preparing small baskets of foodstuffs for childrens birthdays, etc. plus other paperwork. I prefer this kind of work and the only thing I miss is the deliveries, where we would travel to distribute the parcels in and around Jerusalem. Just for your information these are the things I have noticed and shall remember from my time here.

Greetings to you all from kuala lumpur, where i have been recovering from a tough but worthwhile trip. Thanks to your prayers, i was able to give 25 messages in 25 days, despite a lot of travel by road and rail and a nasty cold i picked up en route. most messages were motivational to bible college students, but i visited several tribal villages to encourage churches there. i missed a train too…..but it worked out well in the end! here are the details:
