We had a wonderful time at our church weekend away at Sizewell Hall. These pictures are from a gorgeous afternoon, with plenty of bouncing, playing, chatting and smiling. Thanks to all the little people who helped take the photos.

What is the meaning of Easter? While the focus was once on Easter Sunday, now it is on the Easter Bunny. But Easter Sunday is much more than a day of colourful plastic eggs and chocolate bunnies; it is in fact a day that left the world forever changed.

We had a good time of fellowship together at Sizewell Hall at our first church weekend away in June. With good teaching from Andy Jelfs at three teaching sessions.
Our September weekend at Sizewell featured Steve Fenning speaking at the sessions and was shared with Parkview Chapel.

On Easter Saturday, Churches Together Sudbury presented a production ‘of lies and love’ telling the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Scenes were played at four locations around the town and a large crowd followed as Jesus was first taken to the priests at the temple, then onto trail by Pilate, and finally to the cross.

Even in the rain we had a fantastic time at The Ultimate Event 2006.
God is good! We were able to miss most of the heavier downpours while on indoor rides. Just as we arrived for the evening’s concert the sky cleared and we were able to worship God with Matt Redman, Rebecca St James and Tait, along with a few thousand other Christians from around the UK.

Godfrey Miller received the gratitude and love of the church on Sunday 30 October 2005. Godfrey, his wife Jinny and his mother Ethel were all commended for the warmth and compassion they have showed to the church since Godfrey was appointed as a part time worker. He has now embarked on a 3 month sabbatical which will include a trip to Israel, writing a short book and spending more time with his family.

In May 2006 we had a wonderful weekend of fellowship with the church in Modena, Italy.
